This session explains how the “emergent curriculum” can empower high school Biology/Science students’ voices using lab work. It offers practical examples on how teachers can facilitate an inquiry-based investigative approach. This is based on a comparison between the practical work of the "International Baccalaureate" Program & the Scientific Investigation Skills strand of the Ontario curriculum.
